Arkhangelsk
Moscow, Russia
Description
The villa is situated above the river, on a plot of land with a clear-cut terrain. So as not to ruin the terrain, the building is elevated to the base and adapted on site in such a way as to preserve all the growing trees in the vicinity. Its central part serves a demonstration purpose: it is an 8-meter high living room looking out on the terrace adorned with pines, a mezzanine office with a gallery and an inner sculpture garden. A bridge connects the central part with the adjacent guest bedrooms unit and the private part of the building where the master bedroom and the swimming pool are. To get down to the river there is an almost vertical thirty-meter long cable railway delivering its passengers to their private beach and pier.
