Villa White
Moscow, Russia
Description
A white country villa created on the model of “nesting houses” — the classic building within the modern one. One of the facade walls is made in line with the principles of the Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, another one presenting a glazed double-tier living room in lieu of the expected palladian semi-recessed balcony. One side of the two-sided fireplace, located in the living room, faces the inside of the villa, while the other — the outside, towards the terrace with a pool. A staircase leads to the roof from the side of the terrace, complete with transparent “frames” of antique vases. The accessible, two-level roof comes with a sun parlour, a bar zone and a skydeck.
