Apartment on the Garden Ring
Moscow, Russia
Description
A flat for a young family in a house at the Patriarch's Ponds made in the decorative style, with a luxury feel and many an interesting detail. Thus, during the interior renovation process all the rooms ended up being connected — round “windows” were installed and life in one room started radiating into another. Narrow corridors received a new ceramic floor in the classical shepherd’s check, with the edges floating. A dining zone fitting three chairs sprang up in the recessed balcony annexed to the narrow kitchenette, while the old parquet got to shine with new colours. The art collection belonging to the owners was expanded by adding round mirrors, all the while Griffons took residence in the hall to bear the weight of the marble console.
